African Woman

Emotion sways like gentle wind on a summer morning...
Rhythmic beats of drum beats so my heart beats to bit the blues out of life
Like the Queen I was born to be
Free to fly with the birds in the sky
I breathe life in to your eyes
Golden smiles on this sun kissed ebony face with twinkles of Joy that reflects like rays of sun through glass
Touch me if you can, Love me if you dare, Beauty so rare, I’m one of a kind

Immortal life fountain drink if you like
Let these hands cover you like a womb cares for unborn life
I was born to love.
Melodic praise from nature with every step I take as the wind commands life sings praise.
To this giant of a character
This source of life
This tread that pulls souls together and stitch back the essence of being
Brings back the need the yearn of seeing things unseen
Of being more than just the thought of being

Wisdom that stretches out like blue skies to carry you in to endlessness possibilities
I was born to shine, to be the light that helps you find your ways
The rain that washes away your pain
Bare feet through the struggles of life with the sun in my pocket just you
For those dark days when need a push
A torch that light your way through life’s insecurity
Unending care, which repairs and prepares you for this world’s despairs
These lips have woven a cradle of Love and truth just for you to be complete,
To never feel the need to compete with time, and to enjoy the sublime beauty of a new day.

These eyes tell stories of wars won, hearts healed, tears wiped
This heart as been the umbilical cord that feeds your soul, the gravity that keeps you grounded yet unbounded by your experiences
If you want to know who I am then follow these wrinkles as they take you back in time and unravels this mystery of natural history , stretch marks ,full figure, and as black as I am ,Love me if you dare

 I am African woman
