I stood between heaven and earth
on top of Mountains
with hands stretched moon and stars in between
I reached out and touched the heavens
I layed my head on the clouds as the sky covered my naked body
the wind caressed my chicks and gentle kissed my lips
I tasted life and it tasted sweet
My heart was flooded with joy, pleasure and contentment
I was complete, free and at home
I drank from the purest of oceans
As the grass laid and paved a way for my bare foot
I felt at peace
Words have no place in this love
For they simply would not do us justice
You'rr more than a lover a husband a friend
You're the colour of my skin
You're the twinkle in my eyes
The joke behind my laugh
You're the sigh after a long day
Loving you is loving me so baby I love me every time I Look at you
Today i woke up in his arms
Listen :a very powerful skill to posses but yet a few notice, listen to your heart beat , the birds sing , the laughter of a child, waterfall . Listen to life

Beautiful
Give me your hand ,lets ignite this flame that’s been burning deep within
Forget what everybody has told you about boys and girls
Diamonds and pearls , this story comes out of a book not yet known
This one was written deep in the pit of my soul
With the blood that runs in my vein
Give me your heart , I promise to look after it with my life
Treasure it more than fine art
Dance in the rain with me
As our hearts sings songs of unity and stories yet to be
See this world that awaits us thru my eyes
Seeing you smile and those gorgeous kind eyes looking right at me
I promise to bring you skies full of stars of little feet running towards my arms of motherly love
tears on first school days, conflicts about boys , girls and date nights
We in this together...when I say I love you
I mean it with all I have, in good times and in bad times
I will love you in your perfect health and in your worst illness
The love I have for you is way pass the physical
I will be your companion
I will be your lover
To share with your downfalls and headaches
As much as I will take pleasure kissing you and caressing you
I am prepared for the opposite ,what we have is real
And we are not actors with scripts
We are real with emotions and souls put into this
This is us beautiful
Let me grow with you
But first give me your hand
Forget what everybody has told you about boys and girls

But first give me your hand
Defination of me
I am black not be the opposite of white but to indice all mentalities
Share the world through my eyes ,delight in being me
as each day brings its struggles that ignite this Love of self within a world of doubt
I am African not to be the opposite of Europian but to be the otherside of the coin
that holds the same value in its own unique way
Understanding that wisdom is not a hat worn by the gray
And that the Creator made us different for a reason
I am Female not to be the opposite of male but to be that gentle voice that calms, comfort and cares
The hand that will paint your reflection in all genders
multiplying it to be a nation
I am, not to try and dance to the rhythm of someone that was
But to make my own rhythm and to let this soul sing its own song
I am Me

I love a man who loves himself.
Shoulder up, chest out, head up high as each day goes by
I love a man who loves himself.
"Love is all about sacrifices, you have a good man, he comes home every night you should be happy" that’s all they say every time I tell them, I love a man who loves himself
would you like some more coffee?
How’s your food?
How was your day at work?
Everyday I sing these words with a smile on my face with my pride and self esteem in my pocket.
I love a man who loves himself
I love you to death I say looking at his reflection in the mirror as he walks out the door
Shoulders up, chest out and head held up high
I love a man who loves himself.

I love you to death I say looking at his reflection in the mirror as he walks out the door
Shoulders up, chest out and head held up high
Dear naked child
( picture is not work of poet and was found on goggle)
I’m sorry I never got to hold you
Sad I never got to see you
Mad you never knew, what it feels like to have the arms of your mother's love wrapped around your tiny body
I wish I had a piece of you to take with me
Every day I look at my reflection in the mirror, I can’t help but wonder
Would you have my smile, eyes or heart?
Dear naked child
I had so many dreams for us
So many memories that now linger in the air never to be shared
And Christmas gifts that will never be opened
Now all I have is this deafening silent thoughts
Wrapped in cold “maybe Lullaby’s “ wishing maybe if I could have wished harder
I look up at the sky and hope for hopes,
Hope that you can see me ,that you will know my voice and smile
And that you’re the rainbow after a rainy day
I pray that with every rain drop, falls a word from this never ending letter of love from a mother never to be.
I'm sorry ,I'm sad ,I'm mad and I wish I could have been stronger
Or just held on a little longer
Dear naked child I LOVE YOU
Mommy loves you
Rock Suolid my love
She sits high...So high she can touch the sky...To fulfill their heart's desire...her attention they must acquire...But her touch burns like fire...Every day she looks down from her view..only sees only a few...She longs for someone to come...for all their pain she can numb...As each day goes by ,one by one they pass...Her words echoes in the air “if only you would trust"
If only
If only for an hour, I had the power
To set us free from our mental bondage
Take you closer and give you a kiss of knowledge
Erase all the race boarders
Erase the very core of new world order
Take us back to the Adam and Eve days
Far back before we had this fear of aging craze
I would take your hand as we run with naked minds
Opening wide our mental blinds
If we could all see each other in our true might
If only just for an hour, I had the power
To stop us from running this race race
And just mind our pace
Because in His kingdom we all have a place
That even though we all come from different cultures
That does not mean that we have to behave like vultures
Don’t get me wrong
I’m not trying to sound like an old folksong
And NO I’m not here for votes
I just wish we could all understand that human life is more valuable than banknotes
If only for an hour, I had the power
I would break these chains
That keeps us from feeling each other’s pain
And even though you will never know me
Maybe we can know what it means to be truly free
To be one nation
Made out of different carnations
To be human, to be one
Maybe in the long run
We would not need some guy in a suite
To dilute the essence of our diversity
Or pollute our minds
Maybe we would not need ID books to identify humanity
If just for an hour, I had the power
To stop us all from going insane with everyday life
And stop us from carrying guns and pocket knifes
If just for an hour I had the power
EACHONE TEACH ONE
Solitudes of souls trapped in this brewing volcano called life
Troubled, weary with everyday struggle and the need to keep on keeping on
Morals rusted but yet we still strive
Lie, steal and cheat to survive
Check for valuables and money before you revive
First survival skill gets them before they get you
Love used as a license to wound and bruise
Kids held hostages by their parent’s insecurities, instead of giving them love
Expensive gifts in their faces we shove
Too proud to hold them, we hide behind pride
These days everything has a price
Trading humanity for the latest labels
Just to be labelled as part of the cool crew
Yet this self hatred storm inside our hearts still brews
Emotionally disabled, we have become human cash crusaders
Trading our dreams for cream
Blinded by greed we chase after that bling
Jails overflowing with purposeless souls
Drifting through life with no goals
System fails to control
So papers signed and declared rehabilitated
Media hypnotises us with images of perfection
Mental eraction of self disapproval
So we line up for alterations
Priced inception of beauty with no direction
Misleading youth to be less than themselves
To pack up their destinies and dreams in the devils shelves
Never to be realised and never to be realised
Favourable justice, Vice and corruption dressed in uniforms
Statistics and skin tone used to dictate which lives are more valuable
Free manuals on how to turn your wombs in to tombs
Humanity stuck in replay mode never moving forward
Chasing fame and riches like a dog chasing its tail
Those who acquire it don’t get the fairytale
Those who do don’t live to tell the tale
Yet the circle continues
Negativity taking over creativity
Everybody graduating from the school of deception
Memoirs of sexual partners while HIV infections
Soar higher than inflation
Prevention out fashioned by Idled cure
Pretending to pure
Why meditated when you can self medicate
Future generations living everyday fast
Never thinking about tomorrow
Forever stuck in today until today becomes the past
Fooled into thinking they can out run time
Young lives never reaching their prime
Rerouted into a life of crime
Deafening screems of nothingness
Keeping us from hearing the devil laughing at us
Got us saying “thinking Jesus is coming soon” is a song sung by fools
So instead of being washed by his blood, we stay drowning in this sin infested pools
Just to keep on keeping on
Each one teach one
African Woman
Rhythmic beats of drum beats so my heart beats to bit the blues out of life
Like the Queen I was born to be
Free to fly with the birds in the sky
I breathe life in to your eyes
Golden smiles on this sun kissed ebony face with twinkles of Joy that reflects like rays of sun through glass
Touch me if you can, Love me if you dare, Beauty so rare, I’m one of a kind
Immortal life fountain drink if you like
Let these hands cover you like a womb cares for unborn life
I was born to love.
Melodic praise from nature with every step I take as the wind commands life sings praise.
To this giant of a character
This source of life
This tread that pulls souls together and stitch back the essence of being
Brings back the need the yearn of seeing things unseen
Of being more than just the thought of being
Wisdom that stretches out like blue skies to carry you in to endlessness possibilities
I was born to shine, to be the light that helps you find your ways
The rain that washes away your pain
Bare feet through the struggles of life with the sun in my pocket just you
For those dark days when need a push
A torch that light your way through life’s insecurity
Unending care, which repairs and prepares you for this world’s despairs
These lips have woven a cradle of Love and truth just for you to be complete,
To never feel the need to compete with time, and to enjoy the sublime beauty of a new day.
These eyes tell stories of wars won, hearts healed, tears wiped
This heart as been the umbilical cord that feeds your soul, the gravity that keeps you grounded yet unbounded by your experiences
If you want to know who I am then follow these wrinkles as they take you back in time and unravels this mystery of natural history , stretch marks ,full figure, and as black as I am ,Love me if you dare
I am African woman
